CNC Machining Supervisor/Programmer

Job Description

We are an established manufacturer looking for a CNC Machining Supervisor/Programmer to design and implement machining processes while supervising department personal.   You will be a member of the manufacturing engineering team and you will be participate in the development of product and fixturing, programming and debugging CNC machines for running various machine controllers at the equipment and/or with off-line programming software. Collaborate on required inspections. Communicate with co-workers regarding technical details and production runs.  Interact with operations management to refine and improve documentation and procedures.  Train operators/co-workers regarding processes. Maintain safe, organized and clean work environment.


  • Supervise CNC machining operations

  • Design and debug CNC programs to produce parts to print and meet production standards

  • Setup, program, operate and troubleshoot CNC machinery

  • Ability to improve efficiency through process improvements

  • Understand, interpret and edit G-code programs at the machine and using off-line programming, Mastercam

  • Recognize, deploy and ensure proper use of inserts, fixtures and tooling

  • Design and oversee production of necessary tooling and fixtures for the job

  • Participate with Manufacturing Engineering team to implement new product and to improve product processes and routings

  • Produce product that meets the required dimensional accuracy and surface finish

  • Operate machines at optimal capacity, speeds and efficiencies

  • Utilize and abide by ISO requirements and safety procedures and ensure team performance to the same

  • Ability to work independently

  • Attend scheduled meetings and actively participates by providing meaningful input

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work well as a management figure within a team structure.

This is a full time, full benefit position, with profit sharing.

High School diploma or equivalent required, minimum (8) years relevant experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
