Laurel Dental is a patient-centered independent dental practice that is searching for an excellent addition to our team.
This position would include receptionist skills, reviewing accounts, collecting payments, and scheduling.
Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in the dental office is required.
Duties:
- Warmly greet and check-in patients, verifying their personal and insurance information - Schedule appointments - Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries via text and email - Process patient payments and insurance claims - Maintain patient records and update necessary information (we use Open Dental) - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Assist with various administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist, RDA, or in a similar medical role preferred - Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures -- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor - Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment -Excellent organizational skills Job Types:
