Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team.
As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within our facility.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on facility systems and equipment - Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, HVAC, pool maintenance, general building repairs, and plumbing issues - Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive maintenance measures - Respond to service requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency - Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and ensure efficient operations - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) - Operate and maintain various tools and equipment necessary for the job - Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times -Occasionally contact external contractors for repairs and maintenance projects -Assist with managing inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance and repairs -Be able to oversee the day-to-day operations in the absence of the facility manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments, electrical systems, field service procedures, welding techniques, CMMS software, industrial mechanics, industrial electricity, and high voltage systems - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure - Customer service-oriented with good communication skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Valid driver's license
